Our worship is based on the historic Liturgy of the Lutheran Church, whose roots reach back to the first century.

Corporate worship expresses the unity of the people of God and their continuity with Christians across the ages.  In the  liturgical tradition that Lutherans embrace are the gestures, the songs and the words by which Christians have been identified throughout the centuries.  All that is edifying and authentic in the life of the church of every place is affirmed.  Only that which is contrary to the gospel is rejected.  The key to the particularity of Lutheran worship is the Lutheran tradition of hymns.

Freedom and flexibility in worship is a Lutheran inheritance, and there is ample room for variety in ceremony, music, and liturgical form.  We worship to give glory and praise to God and to strengthen and give courage to Christians for their service to God in their daily life.
