Education Ministry is teaching the word
of God to youth and adults through Biblical Stories, personal Life stories,
services projects, participation in worship and through mentoring from member
to member.
Information on classes for all ages: Class Schedule: Wednesday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, September thru May Preschool through 5th
Grade
Day Camp and Vacation Bible School: Lutheran Camps: Elementary and Confirmation Camps 2006
tbd First Communion Classes: These classes are taught each fall for any baptized youth that is seeking to begin taking Communion or who has communed already and have yet to take the classes. Youth who participate in the classes will have the opportunity to make their own chalice in remembrance of their first communing with God's People. Confirmation for 6th-8th Grade Youth: In a three-year period we study the Bible for one year and Luther's Catechism for two years. Adult Confirmation Classes: These classes are for those adults preparing for baptism and for those baptized adults preparing for membership at Peace Lutheran Church. |
